10. Data & Sustainability Program Participation

The EverFund Service Match Grant is more than an in-kind award — it is part of a broader initiative to create sustainable schools and early learning programs. Inspired by national efforts such as BES, Walmart Foundation, TechSoup, and bhope.org, this program builds a strong evidence base for what works in school finance and sustainability.

As a condition of the award, participants will:

  • Engage with EverFund’s grant team to review and refine their comprehensive funding model.

  • Participate in quarterly sustainability check-ins to identify opportunities to increase and stabilize revenue streams.

  • Provide anonymized data (enrollment, revenue mix, fundraising, grant activity, and expenses) to contribute to the Sustainable Schools Study (SSS).

  • Collaborate with fellow awardees in knowledge-sharing sessions, strengthening collective impact and opening doors to new funding opportunities.

This collaborative, data-driven approach ensures that awardees not only benefit from immediate services but also help build a roadmap for sustainable school start-ups nationwide.
